Corporate, Skippered and Bareboat Charter  on The Solent

Vital Spark is a high-performance Sun Odyssey 45.2 capable of fast, exhilarating cruising in coastal and off-shore waters. She has spacious accommodation and a very full inventory (see Fact File page).  She is privately owned and was built in 2002.

She is based at Haslar Marina, Gosport which has easy access at all states of the tide. A free car park, an impressive bar on a converted lightship overlooking Portsmouth Harbour and other marina facilities are within easy walking distance of the berth.

Corporate Charter

Skippered Charter

Vital Spark is offered with a professional skipper who is Yachtmaster qualified and an experienced sailor. For more information look at the page Skippered Charter.

Bareboat Charter

Bareboat Charter is for groups or families who want to sail and manage Vital Spark on their own. The minimum charter period is one week and the skipper and some of the crew must have suitable sailing qualifications and experience.
 

DOT Regulations

Vital Spark conforms to the DOT regulations for the safety of small commercial sailing vessels in Category 2 - that is up to 60 miles from a safe haven. She is authorised to carry 12 people whilst day sailing and 8 people when on overnight charter.
