Vital Spark Sailing

Relax have Fun and Cruise in Style

Do you love sailing, enjoy life and have a sense of humour?  If the answer to all three is yes, then a winter weekend sail on Vital Spark in The Solent or a week long summer cruise out of Plymouth or a port in West France could be just what you’re looking for - and you could be just what we need to add to our circle of friends and crew!

Vital Spark’s owners are keen to sail as much as possible during the summer months and are always on the lookout for a like-minded people with whom to sail on a shared cost basis. She is not a charter boat and berths are not for sale.

Winter 2009/2010 Weekend Solent Sailing

This winter we are arranging a few weekend sailing trips out of Haslar Marina starting on Friday evening and finishing on Sunday afternoon.  These are aimed at people who want to get to know Vital Spark and her owners before committing to a longer summer cruise. For dates go to Cruising Calendar

Summer 2010 One-Week Cruises

This year we will be repeating the formula worked out over the last two years and organise a number of one-week cruises from Plymouth and various ports in West Brittany and South Biscay - from places all served by low cost airlines offering cheap flights to the UK.  For further details go to Cruising calendar

Crew's Experience

We are happy to have inexperienced people on board although if you've haven't day sailed before or are not qualified to RYA Competent Crew level, it may not be the boat for you. A sense of humour is always a big plus as is the ability to cook!  In the past there have not been many crew outside the age range 40 to 70.
