Cruise the West Mediterranean in Style

Do you love sailing, enjoy life and have a sense of humour?  If the answer to all three questions is yes, then sailing on Vital Spark could be just what you’re looking for - and you could be just what we need for crew and to increase our circle of friends!

Vital Spark’s owners are keen to sail as much as possible during the summer months and are always on the lookout for a like-minded people with whom to sail on a shared cost basis. She is not a charter boat and berths are not for sale.

Summer 2012 Cruises in the Mediterranean

This year we will be repeating the formula worked out over the last few years and organise a number of one-week cruises from various ports in West and Southern Spain and the West Mediterranean including the Balearics.  We will be going to places all served by low cost airlines offering cheap flights to the UK.  For further details go to Cruising Itinerary.

I'm retired having spent my career in IT and Management Consultancy. Sailing is my passion, I've been sailing since I was a child and I'm a Yachtmaster.  I have four children and eight grandchildren. Vital Spark is a high-performance Sun Odyssey 45.2 capable of fast, exhilarating cruising in coastal and off-shore waters. With three spacious double cabins, a large airy saloon and great galley facilities, she is ideal for holidays and cruising.  She has a very full inventory and is equipped to DOT Category 2 safety standards but not now certified.  She was built in 2002. The skipper and three crew can be accommodated on Vital Spark on each cruise - more if there are couples - and there is normally no sharing of berths. Although with four people on board one member of the crew will have to use the berth in the saloon.
